Amber started big school today. My little girl is growing up. Poor thing was ok for the first few minutes but then started to cry, which then started me welling up, followed by OH. He said that it was the worst thing he has ever had to do. He took it worse then she did. I collected Amber three and half hours later, hop, skip and jumping her way out of school. She said that she had a lovely day (phew!). Lets hope tomorrow goes well =-)

I think it's always worse on the parents when our little ones start big boy/girl school! The crying, the seperation anxiety. Most of the times the children get over it quickly. Quick goodbyes usually work best. Sticking around only makes things worse for them and the teachers. I'm glad that she adjusted well and I hope each day is smooth sailing from now on! My girls start on Monday...WOHOOOOO!
Amber is still finding it hard, poor thing. Do your girls only go to school in the morning?
